A new mid-engine supercar from Audi gets a boostedAudi R8 rare supercar, courtesy of Edmunds.com larger V 10 5.2 liter displacement engine. The 525 hp car catapults from nought to 100 km in a mere 3.9 seconds, at 8,700 revs redline it reaches its top speed of 316 km [2]. To cope with larger and powerful engine the Audi engineer had beefed up the chassis and suspension system including exotic bushing material, as originally the car was designed for a V8 engine.

New grille and Led headlight system has also been incorporated to the fastest Audi production car. The obvious difference from its V8 predecessor is its glossy air intake and the led daylight beam when it is viewed frontside. As it has been the traditional quattro model since its inception in early 1980s, this rare car features a permanent all wheel drive. A safety driving feature that is similar to the WRC rally [3 & 4] car, allowing optimal performance regardless of slippery road condition due to changing weather. The all wheel drive system will adjust itself in milliseconds to compensate for any spinning wheel on high speed cornering.
