Rolls Royce has unveiled its latest new Ghost armed with in-house developed BMW power plant 6.6 litre Turbo V12 to produce low grunt torque. The flat torque achieves its peak at very low 1500 rpm producing “Diesel” like characteristic of huge 780Nm; resulting exceptionally luxurious and effortless power delivery finesse!

The Ghost will be available in the market by the end of this year (Sept. 2009) for UK and European continent at £165,000 (approx. $245,000 USD in US auto market) and for the rest of the world auto market in the following year. The engine performance will be matched with suitable chassis and suspension development to achieved a well balance composure even if the driver choose to chase a Ferrari; its advanced engineering chassis set up allows the occupants to remain planted on their seating in hard cornering.

There will be ingenious air suspension mated to multilink aluminium suspension system on the Ghost’s four corners preventing the luxury car from pitching and wallowing yet simultaneously also provides comfortable ride refinement on any driving conditions; thanks to its computer controlled ride height as well as active roll stabilization.
