Night safety driving

DIY Modification Tips

Elsewhere I have covered the classic night rally of Monte Carlo, depicting the extensive use and hence the advantage of upgrading your original equipment's lighting system into a HID one. In the past in order to get such high illumination you would normally sacrifice for its generated heat, high current requirements and could yield a momentarily blindness to the oncoming vehicles.

The generated heat could eventually ruin your lighting assembly, while its high current power requirements may pose a flat battery problems. Hid technology has overcome these hurdles at a cost. You may consider as such an expensive add-on, but if you take into account its versatility compare to the previous technology (O.E.M's standard lighting system) and the enhancing features for a safe night driving; you would indeed make a worthwhile investment.

Say for a 6,000 kelvin illumination HID kit for the latest generation of Toyota Corolla costs $ 79,90 plus its suitable wire harness at $ 34.99, you would get a decent if not better lighting performance and a night safety driving. What a peace of mind driving to such a brisk speed as those in IRC event, as now the scope of your driving's sight covers larger area ahead.
